The class covers the following topics:
- Scrum basics – empiricism, adaptive approach, lean,
- Scrum and Waterfall – differences between traditional and empirical approach,
- Scrum framework – elements of Scrum (roles, artifacts and events) and the rules that bind them,
- Definition of Done,
- Requirements management in Scrum – working with a Product Backlog,
- Estimations – the purpose of estimation as a process and estimation methods,
- Planning and monitoring of progress in Scrum,
- Risk management in Scrum,
- Group dynamics within self-organizing teams – motivation, context switching, cross-functionality,
- Quality, technical debt and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership),
- Organizational change – introduction of Scrum to maximize benefits from its use,
- Scrum Master – the role and its stances,
- Preparation to PSM-I – the details about the certification process.
The trainers answer questions and as far as possible supplement the program with topics selected to meet the group expectations and needs.
